One of my very favorite things about The Hot Yoga Factory is how generous our students are. You are generous with time, with friendliness, and with encouragement.
When we have a donation class to raise funds for worthy causes, you are also generous with money and enthusiasm.
This Sunday’s 4:30 yoga donation class with music is in support of Michael Fitta’s participation in the 2018 Aids Walk/Run Boston.
Michael has been a dedicated yogi at The Hot Yoga Factory for years. He’s the handsome guy practicing (always!) on the Keith Haring towel, and even though he occasionally makes grouchy faces during class, he’s one of the nicest people you could hope to meet. You can get to know Michael a little better in this interview from a couple of years back.
Michael has also been a dedicated participant in the yearly Aids Walk/Run Boston, raising over $20,000 to help fight the HIV/AIDS epidemic and provide support to people living with HIV. You can read more about his commitment to this cause here. (But please don’t get confused: this is an interview from last year, and reflects 2017 dates.)
Michael’s fundraising goal for this year is $2,000, and donations from The Hot Yoga Factory could push him over the finish line.
Please join us on Sunday, May 20th for a special music class at 4:30 pm. Suggested donation is $20, but any amount is helpful!
If you can’t make it but would like to make a donation, you can do so in person at The Hot Yoga Factory or donate directly to Michael’s fundraising page.
Hope to see you there!
