WHEN TO SHOW UP
Show up 15 minutes before class time.
WHAT TO BRING
A Yoga mat, a towel (bath or beach size) and water. Mats, towels and water are available for rent or purchase in the studio. An open mind.
WHAT TO WEAR
Wear clothes you can sweat in. Avoid heavy cotton fabrics.
WHAT TO KNOW
Drink more water than usual the day before. Avoid eating for at least three hours before class time. Avoid caffeinated beverages 6 hours before class.
Breathing is the most important thing you do in this class. If all you do is breath for 90 minutes and stay in the room you have accomplished a lot.
WHAT TO AVOID
Judgement – Focus on what you can do, not what you can’t do.
Expectations – try to stay in the moment, work with the body you have right now. Your body and mind will adapt and adjust faster than you think possible.
