Most of us who love the 26/2 yoga series appreciate the reliable consistency of each class.

90 minutes.

The same 26 postures and breathing exercises with the same alignment cues.

The consistency from class to class means that you can really begin to develop comfort with and expertise about each posture.

Not worrying about what’s coming up next also frees your mind to focus on the posture you are currently attempting, including your breathing. Many students find this meditative aspect of class to be powerfully healing.

And showing up on your mat to do the same postures, day after day, helps you perceive the ways that your mood, your diet, the other activities you’re doing, the worries and joys on your mind affect your body, mind, and overall sense of self.

So much to love about the predictable consistency of a yoga class at The Hot Yoga Factory Chelmsford.

But variety can also be a wonderful thing. The spice of life. A bit of contrast that deepens your appreciation for your routine.

Gillian is so excited about her playlist for the music class on April 14th!

If you feel ready to add a dash of variety to your practice, come and mix it up this Saturday at a special class in which we’ll do the same exact sequence of postures you know and love…but with the addition of music!

Every year we host a fundraiser for the Drake family as they raise money for their ride in the Pan Mass Challenge. (Read last year’s introduction to them here!)

This year’s fundraiser will be a pop-up class at 4:30pm on Saturday, April 14th.

Suggested donation is $20 per person. Please bring cash or a check made out to the Jimmy Fund.

Gillian will lead us through the same 26 postures and 2 breathing, and she’s busy putting together a playlist.

We think you’ll love the music class. And we know you’ll love supporting the Drakes as they raise money to support the fight against cancer.
